King Street barbers, located in Bedworth, was opened 5 years ago by Kerry. Kerry had the dream of creating a place where you could not only get a great hair cut, but a place that people wanted to come to because they felt comfortable and knew they would always receive a warm welcome.

About Kerry

I am a 40 year old professional barber who started my career quite unconventionally, after a drunken weekend, where I decided to cut my friends hair for a big night out. It actually looked great and I realised I had really enjoyed doing it.

From that moment I knew I had found my passion in life, so made the huge decision to pursue a career in Barbering.

I went to work as an apprentice for a year which reaffirmed my love for the job. After learning the basics of the trade, I went to work in a busy Barbers shop where I expanded my skills and really homed in on my trade.

As my client base expanded, with people coming from across the country just for a haircut!, I decided to join the British Master Barbers.

After 11 great years building my portfolio, I felt the time was right to take the next step and open my own Barbers shop. In May 2016 I opened King Street Barbers and I have never looked back.

I love the sense of community and relaxed feel of the shop. My customers are loyal and know that I am not just there to offer a haircut, but to offer an ear, a hand, a safe place to talk. Clients old and new are the reason I do what I do. They are what makes all the hard work worthwhile.
